The Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society Endowment Fund was established to help provide long-term financial support for the programs and services that PRPS provide to recreation, park, and conservation organizations across the Commonwealth.  The Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS), founded in 1935, is the principal organization providing training, education, and technical assistance to organizations such as the Centre Region Parks and Recreation Department and the PA Bureau of State Parks on topics like playground safety, swimming pool management, athletic field and park maintenance, trail construction and maintenance, and financial resources.  PRPS helps these organizations provide higher quality, better-managed, and safer programs and facilities for the citizens being served.
