Penns Valley Area Historical Museum Association Fund
The Penns Valley Area Historical Museum Association is a nonprofit educational organization whose mission is to discover, collect, preserve, interpret and present the pre-historical, historical, and cultural heritage of the people of the Penns Valley and Brush Valley regions. The association will accomplish this by maintaining a collection of artifacts, providing a research and genealogical library, publishing supportive literature, and developing and presenting educational programs. Presentation topics include: local history, genealogy, area forts, architecture, Indian camps and trails, CCC camps, valley Amish history, and information about the Pennsylvania Dutch. In 2003, an endowment fund was deemed vital by the board of the Penns Valley Area Historical Museum Association for the long-range survival of the museum. The long-term goal of this fund is to establish an endowment that ultimately will grow to a level that provides support for the annual operations of the Museum.
