This memorial fund was established by the family and friends of Patrick Y. Wang, a 1995 graduate of State College Area High School, who inspired the community with his uncommon zeal for life. This fund, designed to mirror Patrick's love of technology, was created to stimulate innovative uses and application of technology in the school environment for the improvement of teaching and learning in the State College area school community. Along with his love for technology was his love of the arts. Beginning the piano at the age of four, Patrick was also well accomplished on the violin and guitar.  Patrick's artistic talents also included award-winning photography. His love for life was echoed in his newfound love of mountain climbing.  In a short time he quickly acquired the skills to successfully summit 15 peaks including Mt. Hood, Mt. Ranier, Mt. Adam, and Mt. Whitney.
