Jack C. and Mary L. Falk Fund
Jack and Mary Falk were married in 1955 and remained married for 58 years until his passing in July of 2013. Jack graduated in 1946 from Houtzdale High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce and finance from Penn State in 1950. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he worked his way up to become President of the Federal Savings and served as chairman of the Pennsylvania Savings Institution Association. Jack also managed the family business, Falk Realty. In the community, Jack served as president of Kiwanis and the Centre Hills Country Club. He also served on the boards of Centre Foundation, State College Presbyterian Church, the YMCA, and the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County, where he was recognized with a CBICC Outstanding Service Award in 1955. He was also a Republican Committee Chairman and volunteered his time at the State College Borough’s Planning and Traffic Commissions. As members of Centre Foundation's Campbell Society, Jack and Mary Falk have chosen to steward the mission of Centre Foundation through their fund.
