ACRES Project Fund

Formerly known as Benjamin Plum Farm, the ACRES Project was established by adults with autism to provide a unique residential community, based in a rural setting that fosters independence, self-advocacy, and work/life skills for other adults with autism and related disorders. Programs are designed to match the passion and skills of these individuals with meaningful living and working opportunities that will make them strong contributors to our community. Adults with autism are likely among the most under-counted and under-served population in the nation. The Centre County community provides a large array of services for individuals with autism during their school years; however, after that, those community members move behind the scenes and often into isolation. Their voices must be heard- ACRES is listening. This fund will help the ACRES Project grow to meet the needs and facilitate the dreams of individuals diagnosed with autism.
