Richard H. Lear Fund
Helen D. Lear established this fund in memory of her son, Richard H. Lear. Richard was an architectural designer who never had an hour of art instruction in his life. For twenty years, he and his family lived in East Hampton, NY. At his death, he had designed and built over three hundred homes in this area. In 2003, the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons coordinated a fundraising program, in which ten of his beautiful homes were opened to the public. Grants from this fund will benefit the Schlow Centre Region Library, Centre Volunteers in Medicine, and Park Forest Day Nursery.
