William Lawrence Palmer Scholarship Fund
This scholarship promotes the conservation of our natural resources. It is to support a post-secondary student who is pursuing a major in natural resources management. William “Bill” Palmer graduated from Troy High School in 1967 and from Penn State in 1971 (BS) and 1974 (MS). He retired as a wildlife biologist with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and was a lifelong environmentalist and outdoor enthusiast. Bill worked to protect our natural world and wanted to promote his conservation ideals by supporting the higher education of students with a similar passion.
