Board member of Centre Safe (formerly Centre County Women's Resource Center) and a recipient of their services, Susan Peters left this bequest to support the Center's ongoing work. Founded in 1975 by a small group of women, Centre Safe has grown to include two locations. Since 1978, Centre Safe has focused its resources and energy on ending domestic and sexual violence in Centre County and providing the specialized services needed by those who have been victimized by such violence.
