State Theatre Capital Improvement Endowment Fund
The State Theatre Capital Improvement Endowment Fund was established by The State Theatre to exclusively provide support for capital improvements to the Theatre, Central PA's home for local artists and audiences to experience, appreciate and embrace the transformative power of the performing arts. Originally built as a movie theatre for Warner Bros. Pictures in 1938, The State Theatre is an enduring mainstay of the State College community, committed to presenting a variety of excellent local and national music, theater, dance, comedy, and film programming. This fund was created as part of Centre Foundation's 40 for 40 Campaign to ensure this community resource will always have a home.
