Betty Jane Mincemoyer wanted to create a legacy to her community while honoring the successes of her grandchildren and demonstrating to them the importance of giving back to your community.  She created four scholarship funds, one for each grandchild, and each fund honors a special interest or talent of that grandchild. This fund benefits a senior who has commendable academic achievement and has demonstrated leadership, who is a string player in the orchestra, and an active participant in other music groups and extracurricular activities both in the State College Area School District and in the community.
