Jeremy T. Sente Memorial Scholarship Fund
Marjory and Frank Sente created this scholarship fund to honor the memory of Jeremy, and to support future generations of State College students. "My son was a great kid, all American, bright, funny. We had this perfect little family life," Frank Sente, Jeremy's father, said. "All of a sudden, he developed cancer." Jeremy Sente died at age 15, after a 13-month battle with a malignant brain tumor. Despite many challenges during his treatment, he maintained a sense of humor and enjoyed the people around him. This scholarship is for the benefit of a senior graduating from the State College Area School District who has demonstrated positive academic achievement in school, positive civic spirit through participation in sports or extra-curricular activities, and has committed to a post-secondary educational path in culinary arts or hotel/restaurant management.
