Pennsylvania natives Jim (from Houtzdale) and Jeanne (from Oil City) Swistock have been residents of State College for over 20 years.  Jim previously served on Centre Foundation's Board of Directors; the Swistocks are also Campbell Society members.  "This community has been very good to us and we are pleased to be able to give back through the Community Foundation and this fund," the Swistocks explained.  Distributions from the James and Jeanne Swistock Fund will support the Park Forest Day Nursery located in State College. The Park Forest Day Nursery Preschool is a nonprofit, tuition-free school for children ages 2-4 from low-income families.  A comprehensive program that includes education, social skills, and developmental motor skills is taught by qualified teachers in a friendly, safe environment.  In each classroom, one to three teachers’ aides provide additional attention.
