The Fran E. Levin Fund preserves Fran's dedication to the organizations that she supported: State College Area Meals on Wheels, Schlow Library, and Congregation Brit Shalom. To the many who knew Fran, she will be remembered for her magnetic smile, which she shared with numerous colleagues from far and wide. After working as Director of Sales in several D.C. based hotels, Fran moved to State College in 1988 to become the General Manager of the Atherton Hilton. Later, she worked for Penn State University as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Penn State Hospitality Services. Despite her busy schedule, Fran also found time to give back to her community. She was President of the Centre County Convention & Visitors Bureau and former Secretary/Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Tourism & Lodging Assocation, as well as a board member for the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, PSU's Centre Stage, Centre County Meals on Wheels, Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, and HSMAI Foundation Board.
