Donna L. Litke Occupational Horse Therapy Endowment

The Donna L. Litke Occupational Horse Therapy Endowment Fund was created to recognize Donna's commitment to horses and to support therapeutic equestrian activities. This fund supports the maintenance and upkeep of horses for occupational therapy in Centre County or in any of the six contiguous counties. Donna Litke was born in 1941 to Judge William and Helen Litke. After receiving her bachelor's degree from Lock Haven State Teachers College and a master's from Cortland State Teachers College, Donna taught physical education to elementary students in Binghamton, New York for 36 years. In 2003, she returned to Happy Valley to take over as President of her family's business, University Park Plaza Corporation. Donna was active in the community and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling. She considered her miniature horses as part of the family, namely Mr. Twister, Pitty Pat, and Apricot's Brandy.
