Delta Theta Sigma Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Delta Theta Sigma Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to support students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State, who aspire to be future leaders in the agriculture industry, and who carry on the tradition and spirit of fallen DTS members, including Ethan Wolfe and William Casagrande. Ethan "Beef" Wolfe, 22, of rural Centre Hall, son of Juanita Rider Wolfe and the late Harry R. Wolfe, died in December 2013 in an automobile accident. His heart-warming smile and carefree personality made him an instant friend to everyone he met. William Casagrande, 21, son of William and Sylvia Casagrande, died in August 1978 as a result of Leukemia. He joined DTS as he was suffering from his illness, yet still continued to work very hard. This fund supports two annual scholarships- one for an incoming freshman of the College of Agriculture at Penn State's University Park campus, and the other for a transferring student to the program from any Penn State branch campus.
