Connie Infield Memorial Scholarship Fund
Born in northwestern Pennsylvania in 1927, Constance “Connie” Miceli Infield attended Penn State to pursue a degree in biology and a minor in physical education. After graduating in 1948, Connie taught at St. Mary’s School District until marrying the love of her life, James “Jim” Infield in 1956. The couple moved to Happy Valley, where Connie taught at SCASD for 25 years. She established the award-winning Cooperative Work Experience Program for the district before retiring. After Jim’s unexpected passing in 1992, Connie returned to her teaching roots and found a home with South Hills School of Business & Technology. Connie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, an avid sports fan, and a dedicated community member. The Connie Infield Memorial Scholarship Fund honors Connie’s memory and her love of teaching by supporting scholarships to students attending South Hills School of Business & Technology.
