The Catherine Ye Memorial Scholarship Fund supports an annual scholarship for State College Area High School seniors. Candidates should be academic achievers, self-motivated leaders in the classroom, involved in Communication Arts & Scholarships, have a passion for Creative Arts, and possess a strong dedication to values and integrity—the traits that Catherine Ye demonstrated so beautifully. Catherine was a 2007 graduate of State College Area High School and then earned of a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago. Her passion for life and curiosity were infectious. She could make anyone laugh and used her well-timed humor to motivate others. Most importantly, she was deeply kind and had a gift of bringing comfort and love to those who were graced with her company.
